FIRST NATIONAL BANK TO HOLD GRAND OPENING CEREMONY AT VALLEY JUNCTION BRANCH
AMES, IOWA (July 7, 2022) – First National Bank (FNB), headquartered in Ames, Iowa, is announcing that it will be hosting a Grand Opening Ceremony at its Valley Junction branch at 301 5th Street, West Des Moines, Iowa, on Monday, July 18, 2022.
The ribbon-cutting event is co-hosted by the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce and will be held at 3 p.m. After the ceremony, FNB will host an open house for its customers and the community until 5 p.m. Refreshments and giveaways will be provided.
The Valley Junction branch reopened on June 27 in its newly constructed building. Previously at the same location, the original bank building was razed to make way for the new branch, which is fashioned with a bright and sleek design. The openness of the space provides a welcoming, community feel that integrates well into the historic downtown.
“Reimaging FNB’s presence in Valley Junction is a departure from the traditional branch design of the old bank. The aim has been to create an environment that facilitates conversations and customer relations, rather than transactions. We want everyone in the community to feel comfortable coming in and having a conversation with us. We also offer the latest video banking technology that extends our banking hours,” said Branch Manager Jason Keigley.
FNB President Scott T. Bauer said, “We are excited for the on-going opportunity to be part of a vibrant, growing Valley Junction community and to deliver What Banking Should Be.”
