Mitigation Strategy: Dual Control

 Section Menu

Dual Control

Dual Control is a system in which one user submits an ACH or wire transfer by entering its details, and another user at your company reviews and approves it. This process is strongly recommended to prevent unauthorized transfers, particularly those resulting from cybersecurity threats.

Implementing Dual Control adds an extra layer of security and ensures that the details of ACH and wire transfers are accurately entered and verified. Once submitted through Cash Management, an ACH or wire transfer can be sent within minutes.

By employing Dual Control, you significantly reduce the risk of errors or financial losses associated with ACH and wire transfers, making it a highly effective safeguard for your transactions.
