    • What documents and information do I need to open an account?

    • What Do You Need to Open a Relationship Checking Account? 

      You can apply online if you're 18 years or older and a legal U.S. resident. 

      Here's a list of what you'll need to apply.   

      1. Two forms of government-issued ID. At least one of the IDs must be a photo ID. Acceptable forms of ID include: A driver's license, REAL ID card, DoD ID card (also known as Department of Defense ID Card), Passport, Social Security card, Birth Certificate [Nondrivers can get a state ID card at the Iowa Department of Transportation.]
      2. Your current residential address. 
      3. Your birth date.
      4. Your Social Security number or Taxpayer Identification number.
      5. Your phone number and email address. 
      6. A minimum opening deposit of $10 to activate your account (once you've been approved). All three Relationship Checking accounts have a minimum deposit requirement to open. 

      Depending on your circumstances, you might need a few other items, too:

      1. If you're opening a joint account, you will need to provide documentation to confirm the identity of each person listed as an account holder and a signature from each of them. 
      2. If you're under 18 years old, you will need a parent or guardian over 18 to open the account with you.

    • Online bill pay is a service offered with all of the Relationship Checking accounts. This service helps customers pay their bills quickly and seamlessly. With online bill pay, you can have money sent directly from your bank account to those you owe with a click of a button. You can use online bill pay to pay a number of bills - rent, mortgage, cable, phone, utilities, and credit cards --- all from a single dashboard. 

    • Do you offer online and mobile banking with Relationship Checking accounts?

    • Wherever you are, we've got you covered with online and mobile banking. Both online and mobile banking services are available to use with your Relationship Checking account. 

      Online banking refers to any bank transaction that can be conducted over the Internet, through the bank's secure website under a user's unique private profile, and with a desktop or laptop computer. Checking account holders must register with First National Bank online and create a login ID and password to use this service.

      Mobile banking allows you to perform many of the same activities as online banking using a smartphone or tablet instead of a desktop computer. Mobile banking allows you to access your account through an app downloadable to your smartphone.
