Anderson to Retire from First National Bank

After 34 years of working devotedly at First National Bank, Tanya Anderson is set to retire on December 31, 2017.
Tanya applied to be a Teller at First National Bank in 1979 after graduating from Iowa State University. “I thought I would work at the Bank for a couple of years and move out of Ames. Little did I know that I would find a home at First National Bank and build my professional career here” said Tanya.
Over the past 34 years, Tanya has worked in various areas of the Bank and has always been eager to learn more. She worked as a Teller and Trust Operations Supervisor and spent her most recent years assisting New Horizons and First Point Private Banking clients with their banking needs. Tanya commented “what I have valued the most is developing great friendships with my clients and co-workers. Thank you for making this journey an enjoyable experience.”
A Retirement Open House will be held at First National Bank, Ames Main location on Friday, December 15th from 1-5 p.m.
